About DR20 TRUST
Dr.20 is run by DR20 TRUST, a public charitable trust based in Kavalkinaru, Tirunelveli District, Tamil Nadu.
Who we are
DR20 TRUST is a Public Charitable Trust registered under the Indian Trusts Act, 1882. It is non-profit, secular and non-political.
The Trust uses its income only for its charitable objects, and no profit is paid to its trustees. Patients pay the Trust directly for its services, and the Trust takes no commission from doctors or staff.
What the Trust sets out to do
- Make healthcare affordable and accessible for everyone, especially in rural areas.
- Run the Dr20 Consultation Programme, in which registered doctors consult at a nominal fee of ₹20, or another subsidised rate set by the Board of Trustees.
- Provide care at home for people who are bedridden, elderly or living with a disability, through nurses, caregivers and physiotherapists.
- Build technology that is simple to use for rural communities, senior citizens and persons with disabilities, in English and Tamil.
Where we are
Our registered office is on Vadakkankulam Road in Kavalkinaru, Radhapuram Taluk, Tirunelveli District.
The Trust works in Tamil Nadu first, starting in Tirunelveli District, and may open more branches as its Board decides.
